Established in 1948 by Basil L. Richardson and later owned by his son Basil A. Richardson, Richardson’s Market served the community of Portsmouth selling fresh produce, meat, and groceries for 52 years.

We’re a third generation, family owned grocery market, serving downtown Portsmouth, NH. Reopening in the original location of 148 State Street, Richardson’s offers fresh produce, packaged meats, frozen foods, dairy, grocery and convenience items.
